The marriage of Adidas and fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto may seem like an odd pairing, but the success of their Y-3 label speaks for itself. Not the first designer-athletic wear partnership, but certainly one of the most critically acclaimed, Y-3 has inspired similar collaborations throughout the industry.
