Volcom was created in 1991 by Richard Woolcott and Tucker Hall – two guys who knew nothing about making clothes. The year represented a time when snowboarding and skateboarding was looking down on in the United States, but their "youth against establishment" spirit was all they needed to become an international success.
In the first year, Volcom earned just $2,600. They have since blasted to the forefront of punk, sport and adrenaline junkies' closets worldwide. The company has boardshorts, jeans, sweaters, jackets, tops and much more for men and women. Collaborating with top surfers, skateboarders and snowboarders, Volcom knows what you want and how hot things need to look.
Today, the Volcom spirit can be witnessed through art, music and films, as well.
