Vera Wang is a luxurious fashion designer, known primarily for her collection of breathtaking wedding gowns.

In 1990, Wang opened her own design salon in New York City. Once a figure skater herself, she was called upon by top skaters Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan and design costumes. Her gorgeous bridal gowns have been made for and worn by the likes of Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Sharon Stone, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Uma Thurman and many more style icons. In addition, Wang has lines of fragrances, jewelry, eyewear, shoes, sleepwear and house ware items. The company recently sparked a deal with Kohl's stores across the United States, which will sell clothing and handbags designed by Wang's brand Very Vera by Vera Wang starting in Fall 2007.
