Ping - available at 6 stores *

When Karsten Solheim got sick of trying to play golf with the inferior clubs available to him in 1959, he did a favor to all golfers and invented the Ping 1A. Named for the sound it made when striking a ball, the Ping 1A revolutionized the sport and started the most important company in golf clubs.

Founded on the merits of a single, pioneering club, PING continued to innovate and soon delivered a completely new putter called the Anser. To this today, the 'anser' to golf's putting problems remains the most popular putter in the world.

More than just great putters, PING produces a complete range of irons, woods, and hybrids. Backed by professionals like Mark Calcavecchia and Chris DiMarco, PING uses the PGA tour as a testing bed.
