Ever since Debbi Fields opened her premier Palo Alto, California store in 1977, her cookies tantalized the mouths of people near and far. Although many people discouraged her, she persevered and her company became the first cookie-and-baked-goods store chain.

As Mrs. Fields became increasingly popular, the company franchised in 1990 and started expanding the product line even more to include more occasion-specific edibles for events such as Mother's Day, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Hallowe'en, and New Years.

Since its inception, Mrs. Fields' line now includes bite-sized cookies, decorated cookie cakes, special basket collections, staff appreciation bundles, season-specific packages, and other tantalizing creations.
