Known originally as a perfumery, Lancôme launched its first five fragrances in 1935. Swarmed by success, founder Armand Petitjean expanded the company to create a full-line of products, including makeup, skincare, hair care and sun and body care that use the very best ingredients. They also have newly opened Lancome Boutiques that take spa treatment to another level. All Lancôme products are dermatologist- and ophthalmologist-tested to be gentle and effective. Lancôme tests on human volunteers – not animals. The company also accepts their social responsibility to remain eco-friendly and participate in programs that protect and preserve the environment. Lancôme is owned by L'Oreal.
