Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. is a leading fashion, accessories, jewelry and fragrance designer that got its start selling shoes out of the back of a truck in Midtown Manhattan in 1982.
After selling more than 2000 shoes in just two and a half days from that truck, Kenneth Cole became an established name in women's shoes. He has since expanded his collection into women's and men's wear and more. His clothing is fabulous and chic without the luxury designer prices; Cole is known for designing "Prada for the people," using classic pieces with slick lines and fine detailing to create items people off the run way actually love to wear. He has additional lines, such as Reaction and Kenneth Cole New York.
Kenneth Cole is known for his social awareness. He often pairs clothing ads with charitable messages for AIDS, homelessness, environmental and other cause awareness.
