Hewlett-Packard, or HP, is currently the world's largest information technology corporation. Their range of products includes printers, scanners, desktop computers, laptops, digital cameras and memory devices.

Founded in 1939 by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, the name was chosen by the flip of a coin. Dave Packard lost the coin flip, but the company he and his partner started quickly became a pioneer in the electronics field. One of the first customers was Walt Disney, who bought a series of oscillators for use in theatres during the release of Fantasia.

Today, HP is a global powerhouse that has put at least one product in over half of the homes in America. From pocket calculators to fault-tolerant servers, HP manufactures just about every information product available. And they do so with a reputation for quality and efficiency.
