Well, we all know it's always a "lovely day for a Guinness", but here's why! In 1752, Arthur Guinness was left a sum of money in the will of Archbishop Price. He started a small brewery in Co. Kildare, Ireland, eventually moving the business to Dublin. Through research and determination, he created the unique beer that we know today as Guinness.

The Guinness brewery became the largest brewery in the world and was handed down from father to son for four generations. All of the Guinness drank in the UK, Ireland and North America is still brewed at the historic St. James's Gate brewery in Dublin.
