GCI Outdoor was founded in 1996, the year their Everywhere Chair took the outdoor chair market by storm. It is the only hillside chair in the world that adjusts to sloping terrain. GCI Outdoor's mission is to enhance the comfort experience – and, so far, they are doing well.
In 1997, GCI Outdoor developed the Auto-Fold feature: a unique strap design allowing you to lift the carrying strap and see the chair close automatically; this feature is now found on all their chairs.
The company sells numerous lightweight, strong chairs in various shapes and sizes. GCI Outdoor has sling seats with back support and folding back seats, perfect for sitting on bleachers, camp side or in your canoe. They also have a small selection of tables and lightweight, portable coolers.
