G-III - available at 7 stores *
G-III Apparel Group is the world's top designer and manufacturer of leather outerwear. Established in 1956, the then-called G&N Sportswear began when a European master craftsman decreed to make only the highest-quality goods.
Since 2001, G-III has had license to sell Calvin Klein, Cole Haan, Guess?, Nine West, Kenneth Cole, Sean John, Jones New York and Tommy Hilfiger outerwear.
G-III's greatest success might be their G-III Sports line, which has had NHL sports-licensed apparel since 1993. Other lines include MLB, NHL and a NASCAR division in 2004. Carl Banks, former linebacker for the New York Giants, Washington Redskins and Cleveland Browns, has teamed up with G-III to create a series of leather sports jackets for men and women.
