New York City-based Freeverse is an award-winning entertainment software company that specializes in card and board games, particularly for Mac OS. They pool talented artists, sound designers and programs throughout the world.
With about 35 games for Macs and 10 for PCs, Freeverse has received numerous awards for its software. They won four Apple Design Awards, two Mac World "Best of Show" awards and a Macworld Magazine "Game Hall of Fame." Most recently, the game WingNuts 2 was selected as runner-up in the Best Mac OS X Game category at the 2006 Apple Design Awards.
