The E-Series full size van by Ford, has been their best selling cargo/passenger van since 1980. The first E-Series cargo vans came out in 1961 and were used by Bell Telephone System because of the size and space within the vehicle. It was made with three rows of seats for eight passengers.

Ford has made numerous design changes to the E-Series including a larger frame, using a track chassis for the base, reshaping the grill and headlights and moving the engine to the front of the vehicle. The E-Series can now fit 15 passengers with seats that are bolted to the floor.

With faster and powerful engines the E-Series has been upgraded to the latest 6.8 L Triton V10 engine that features 305 hp and an optional diesel engine.
