Copa Airlines, known simply as Copa, is the national flag-carrier for Panama. Based in Panama City at Tocumen International Airport, Copa services 39 domestic and International destinations.

Commencing operations in 1947, Copa operated a modest fleet of DC-3 and C-47 aircraft. Today, the fleet has grown to 30 aircraft, including the Boeing 737. When the addition of 17 new craft is completed in 2008, Copa will boast one of the most modern fleets in Latin America.
