CCM, originally Canada Cycle & Motor Co. Ltd., is a leading supplier of high-quality hockey equipment and apparel, as well as bicycles.
Founded in 1899, the company began by manufacturing bicycles and even its own automobile. Six years later, they dove into the hockey skate industry and produced various hockey equipment that improved safety, performance and confidence in players. They acquired numerous companies, such as Tackaberry skates and Karhu equipment, which led CCM to be known as "the Hockey Company." In 2004, CCM was bought by Reebok.
CCM is known for their durable, consistent products. The company is the official licensee, sponsor and on-ice supplier of the NHL until 2014.
