Call them the Birds or the O's, the Baltimore Orioles are one of Major League Baseball's most historic teams. The team has seen the World Series seven times, winning in 1966, 1970, and 1983. Playing as the Milwaukee Brewers, from 1894-1901 and St. Louis Browns, from 1902-1953, the team in orange and black has wowed audiences young and old at the Memorial Stadium and Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Hall of Famers from the Orioles include Luis Aparicio, Reggie Jackson, George Kell, Eddie Murray, Jim Palmer, Robin Roberts, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Earl Weaver, and Hoyt Wilhelm. In recent years, the team has hosted greats like Cal Ripken, Jr. and Randy Myers.
Eleven Orioles played in the 2006 World Baseball Classic, which is the highest amount from any team. They were Erik Bedard, Adam Loewen, Rodrigo López, Geronimo Gil, Daniel Cabrera, Miguel Tejada, Ramon Hernandez, and John Stephens.
