The boxes are predominantly for centralized distribution and collection of mail packages, along with individual, residential units.

Auth-Florence was founded in 1934, and continues to expand in production and facilities. In 1990, the company acquired Auth Electric, lending to the name Auth-Florence Manufacturing.

In 1998, the company grew once again by adding the American Device Postal Specialties line. Then in 2000, Auth-Florence gained Culter Manufacturing Corporation. Today, the company's 192,000 foot manufacturing plant rests in Manhattan, Kansas.
