Marras, an Alghero, Italy native, dreamed up his narrative designs from collective memory. The patterns and shapes featured in his pieces are symbolic of larger concepts and events. Creatures from the medieval era and women emigrating in Argentina are just some of the noted. His creations carry weight and portray emotion, touching the audience in the way only a passionate designer can.

The designer remains a resident of his native Alghero, where he owns a home overlooking the sea. Marras looks to his extended family for assistance with his creative work.
