Andres Sarda was born in Barcelona, Spain, where he has always been a part of the fashion and textile industry. It seemed Sarda was predestined to follow, as his family has been part of the industry since the 19th century.

Sarda's first personal collection was titled RISK. In Spain at the time, women were offered unappealing underwear, serving only the purpose of undergarment. Sarda decided to break the mold by introducing elegant, stylish underwear. The designer's other labels, ANDRES SARDA and UNIVERSITY, are crafted with the assistance of his daughter Nuria. Their collections appear on international markets.
