In 1921, Mathew Andis was convinced that he had built the best working model of electric clippers- and rightly so. With the help of his wife, Anna, he began production and shortly after started door-to-door sales. Mathew's confidence in the product led him to take out a loan and establish the Andis Clipper Company.
Demand for the product reached incredible heights as the word spread among barbers. Never before had they witnessed a set of clippers that were so compact and practical.For 77 years now, Andis has provided barbers and beauty salons with clippers and trimmers. Their extensive line also includes animal grooming products and at-home barber kits, curling irons and brushes. Company offices are located in countries worldwide.
