AMF Software is the innovator behind many well-known programs, including the color toolbar icon collections for Word (Windows 2.0), as well as a productivity package called Wordware.

Soon after their 1990 start-up, AMF was recognized for high-quality software products at reasonable prices. Originally providing for CompuServe, AMF gravitated toward the internet, as did the public. Soon a family of sites and a newsletter were established, and the company began outsourcing orders and retained temporary employees.

The company made a major leap forward in 2005, by teaming up with Diangy Systems. Their Business Card Creator, label maker, and "productivity software" have gathered wide-spread usage. AMF guarantees to add products at least quarterly.
