Its start-up story is a unique one. Founder, Todd Hakansan was hiking through Costa Rica when his can of insect repellent leaked into his bag, eating right through it and the keys of a calculator. Hakansan began to think about this outcome in relation to his skin. Inspired, he created all-natural repellents, sanitizers, and sun protection for outdoor enthusiasts.
All Terrain has created environmentally-friendly products, made from all natural ingredients. Products are packaged using recycled materials. Acknowledging they still have a long trek ahead, the company's ultimate goal is to run a "net zero consumption."The company works closely with environmental groups, as well as sponsoring selected outdoor events. All Terrain works toward educating young people about the environment, to ensure a greener future.
