AB - available at 2 stores *

AB is a violin rosin created by Amy Birch, an English violinist in the Covent Garden Orchestra, back in 1896. She made the rosin for herself, originally, to cope with a wide range of temperatures and humidity without clogging.

Her friends in the orchestra eventually persuaded her to market the rosin commercially and endorsed the product when it first appeared. AB is widely recognized for bring sticky, with a nice grab on the strings. Easily affordable, the AB rosin is perfect for both amateurs and professional strings players alike.

AB Rosin is made by Barnes and Mullins Ltd., a wholesaler of musical instruments since 1894.
