All female. All Punk. For exactly seven years, the band 7 Year Bitch blasted audiences with fierce sounds and lyrics reminiscent of the riot grrl movement.

Throughout their history, members of 7 Year Bitch have suffered many hardships and tragedies. In 1990, Selene Vigil, Stefanie Sargent, and drummer Valerie Agnew were left without a bassist when Elizabeth Davis Left for Europe. In 1992, guitarist Stefanie fell victim to her battle with drugs, just before 7 Year Bitch's release of Sick 'Em. Then in 1993, Mia Zapata, a longtime friend and member of the band Grits, was brutally raped and murdered.

The women of 7 Year Bitch used transformed the personal tragedies into fuel used to create tribute songs and albums. All of which has been embraced by punk rock fans across the world.
